Why do people need Myspaces?

nobody reeeally neeeds myspace.

but i have a myspace because i want

to stay in touch with old friends i dont see anymore.

others use it because they have nothing else to do.

others only have one to keep in touch with friends.

others only have music pages so people can check them out.

Why do people need Myspaces?

To be honest, I really don't see the importance of having a MySpace or Facebook etc. I mean, we have e-mails and instant messaging services like MSN. OK, the comment boxes are for COMMENTS, not for you to communicate through. You are practically posting your comversation up for the whole wide world to see.

it isnt necessary.

its for people who have no lives....like myself.

and you talk to your friends, decorate your page, and listen to music.

its just for fun.

but unnecessary i guess.

Why do people need Myspaces?

No one needs one. I didn't want one and I resisted for a good long time and then one day my sister called me and said oh by the way I was bored so I created a myspace account for you! Thats how I got mine and for a week or two I was into it. Now I go there pretty quick to check messages or whatever and sign out; but I will say since I got it I've gotten back in touch with 5 or 6 of my friends who I lost contact with after highschool and that alone made it worth it.
