okay so i found a layout that I like and I'm using it but it hides my pictures like my actual pictueres so I was wondering if anyone knew how to make a link that i can put on my myspace that'll go to my pictures.. like a comment, message, add button except for my pictures ive seen them on peoples myspaces but have no clue how to do them... thanks. oh if you want to see my layout and see what im talking about go to myspace.com/morgan4328 and I'll add you so you can see just tell me when you request that thats what your doing so ill know

Ok, first, go to your pictures page, and copy the url link for it.

so there's this guy i like.. i thought he liked me too.. we smile at eachother in classes and talk a lot in person and on AIM. we always play games and he constantly asks me "who do you picture yourself dating?" and i say "i'm not telling you, you tell me first." then he says "i'm not telling you either." he doesn't have a myspace anymore, so i gave him my myspace password and email so he can look at people's myspaces. don't worry, i trust him. but he's always like "____ is pretty." "wow ______ has a nice picture." etc.

maybe he's just hiding the fact that he likes me, like i'm hiding the fact that i like him. i really thought he liked me,but not anymore. shucks...

or are we both just playing hard to get, but we're not realizing it? we both tend to break people's hearts in the past.. maybe this is isn't right for me.

In photoshop create your text in one layer. Rasterize the layer. Copy the layer. Blur, or use the "refine edge" feature in CS3. There are lots of different ways you can do it in refine edge. Experiment.

Now paint that layer a different color.

Flatten image, save it.

I don't know how to do it as actual text, only a picture as explained above.

If you have a graphics program then you can hand build almost any style border you please and in any color but the text has to be in graphic mode and can not be changed as you are merging one image into another

You may also want to play around with the HTML that was used to build the page

Just click on the view tab and select page source

With a little practice, you may be able to use something that will just fit on you page. Give it a whirl

Best friends closer to eachother than me?

i went on holiday recently and when i came back my three closest friends all seem closer to eachother than me and i feel sort of left out and not liked. i saw pictures on one of their myspaces of them together yesterday without me when i wasn't invited even though i was at home doing nothing but i dont really want to say anything to any of them. my best friend still says she likes me the most but she seems to prefer spending time with the others without me and i dont really know what to do because it's upsetting me. any advice? x

You know, that's what I've been wanting to know, but this just came to mind right now.

- Upload the picture.

- Set it as your default.

- Delete the picture.

See if that works. I hope it does. I haven't tried it yet but I have a feeling it could work.

i would try waiting one day. in the meantime, go to another copmuter and check it out. if it works on a different computer, download an alternate browser, I'd recommend Mozilla Firefox, for your computer and you will be able to check and edit your myspace just fine.

I'm just wondering if this bugs anybody but me. What really grinds my gears is when a pre-pubescent/pubescent teenager says they love someone else. I see it everywhere, in AIM profiles to Myspaces to Xanga blogs. I don't really understand how these teenagers newly introduced to dating and relationships can pick up the nearest person who likes them and then plaster them everywhere in their life, saying they love them. Is it to be cool, or do some really mean it? If its the latter I don't really mind, but if it's the prior i'm just sickened. What are your thoughts?

Kids are bombarded with love,love,love,on tv, movies and just about everywhere.Part of it is "playing grown-up",which kids do WAY too early,these days.

Kids know alot more about sex than they did in my time.They confuse this with love.At a time when they are experiencing hormonal changes in their bodies,this can go wild.

I imagine that being "cool" is part of it ,and that they DO think they mean it.The lack of experience leads them to think this.

Okay, there's an option in the "add/edit pictures" that says you can add a slideshow. I haven't done it yet, but it sounds like that could be it. Good luck.

okay. well heres the thing. right now i have only 1 myspace account. BUT i want to make another one, for a layout site or something. in my life ive had a total of about 5 myspaces but ive deleted them all except for the one i have now. anyways everytime i try to make a new myspace it doesnt go threw. i complete the first page of steps using a different email adress and completing everything fully. but when its timeto go to the next step, instead of the page coming up, its a blank white page with random letters and numbers in the top left.

however, the address in the adress bar seems to be correct. it sez http://signup.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuse... but the page is STILL blank with random letters and numbers in the top left corner.

3dbe is an example. its not a captcha either. its just random letters as shown. i even waited like 10 minutes to see if my computer was slow but that wasnt the case. and also i refreshed it many times. ItriedAbout5differentTimes!

If you have firewalls up it won't let you.. try this: turn off your firewall on your computers security/anti-virus program for 15 minutes if it lets you, then try doing your MySpace account again.

Yea Im not really sure how many myspaces you can get but why dont you try having a fake name and everything to go along with the new email and I would try a different new email and if that doesnt work you might to get a friend to do it or try another computer(library, friends houes..etc)It also could be the internet exit it out and try it again.

In PA 4 teen girls' families are filing lawsuits against Myspace.com because they were sexually abused by adults they met on the site. The parents argument is that "Myspace should have better security measures to effectively increase the safety of its underage users." Its sad the girls were sexually abused, but do yall really believe its Myspaces' fault for the parents not monitoring their kids on the computer? I wanna know yalls thoughts/opinions on this...

I think the parents should stop shifting the blame to others. If they had raised their kids right %26amp; been decent parents who were involved in their kids lives this sort of thing never would have happened. as a parent, much as i want to make sure that my kids can only have access to safe activities, i know that is not how the world is. the real world will always have evil in it. it happens even in places we feel they are safest at -- i.e. schools, churches, etc. i cannot put blame on these places if my kids went to it and something bad happened. for one, we should, as much as we could, teach the kids how to protect themselves. at the risk of sounding insensitive...i disagree with the parents' argument on that.

That's like all the people who sue McDonald's because they're obese. The world is lawsuit hungry nowadays because no one wants to take responsibility for their own actions anymore. No, it is not Myspace's fault. On myspace if you are not a certain age your profile is set to private. Nobody can view it unless you add them to your friend's list. You can also go as far as not even accepting friend's requests from people unless they know your last name or email address. I hate how parents are always trying to blame somebody else. Why aren't they monitoring what their children are doing on the internet? Why are they letting their children meet adults they met on the internet? Don't blame a website because you failed to be a parent and protect your child. When I was that age I wouldn't DARE meet somebody online. My parents knew nothing about a computer. They trusted me to be safe online and I was. The did not physically monitor everything I did online but they raised me better than to meet strangers from the internet.

I don't think it's the fault of myspace. It's the girls. Parents can only do so much monitoring. They chose to meet the people that abused them. I am sure the girls lied to their parents. Sad that they got abused. Just watch that special on TV. I can't remember the title. The one where all these grown men meet this girl at her house and surprise news cameras are there and police are in the bushes.

How do you make a layout previewer for myspace layouts?

I made a layout site, it's actually fairly good, still under construction, and I want to know how to have a layout previewer instead of making a bunch of new myspaces and linking the layouts to those. I also want to stop saving pictures of them and putting them on the layout site for previewing, it's too much of a hassel. Can you help?

thats another question that cant be just simply answered by anyone. its not exactly what guys look for in girls in general, it more of what a type of guy is looking for in a girl. your going to have those guys who only want to use the girls theyre dating. then all they are looking for is apearance and how willing they are. then your going to get the good guys, the ones worth dating. they'll be looking for attitude, sense of humor, personality, intelligence, and probably still at least a decently attractive girl. all you need to worry about is which type you want to go for.
